Zunami Protocol 2024: A Year of Growth and Innovation
As 2024 has concluded, we at Zunami Lab are excited to share the remarkable milestones and achievements that defined this year. From impactful integrations to innovative product launches, here’s a comprehensive summary of how we advanced the DeFi space.
Key Milestones of 2024
1. Zunami V2 Launch: zunUSD & zunETH
In 2024, we unveiled Zunami V2, introducing enhanced efficiency and scalability to our protocol. The launch brought forward an advanced architecture designed for optimal performance.
Two stablecoins were launched:
- zunUSD
- zunETH
3. Re-Audit by Oxorio
After completing two independent audits with Nomoi and PeckShield, we conducted an additional comprehensive audit with Oxorio to ensure maximum security and protocol integrity.
4. LlamaLend Integration
Our integration with LlamaLend unlocked new opportunities for capital efficiency, allowing liquidity providers to collateralize assets in novel ways.
5. ZUN Token Launch
The launch of the $ZUN token was a major highlight, ushering in decentralized governance and empowering community-driven development.
6. ZUN Distributor Launch
To ensure equitable and streamlined distribution of $ZUN rewards, we introduced the ZUN Distributor, optimizing reward allocation within the ecosystem.
7. Protocol Multisig Setup
A secure and decentralized multisig wallet was established to decentralize the management of the treasury by transferring the storage of $ZUN from the team-controlled multisig to a multisig managed by representatives of various protocols.

8. Chainlink Integration
Zunami Protocol has upgraded to Chainlink CCIP — the industry standard for secure cross-chain interoperability — across the Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum, and Optimism mainnets. We’re leveraging CCIP’s token transfer capabilities to facilitate cross-chain transfers of our native token ZUN & zunStables enabling a more seamless cross-chain user experience.
9. Launch on Base Blockchain
We expanded our reach by deploying Zunami on the Base blockchain, unlocking fresh scalability and adoption opportunities.
10. Revenue Switch Activation
We activated the Revenue Switch, redirecting all protocol income to $ZUN stakers, encouraging long-term commitment to the ecosystem.
11. scrvUSD Integration
The addition of scrvUSD expanded liquidity options and diversified yield generation within the protocol.
12. zunBTC Launch
Zunami Protocol launches zunBTC asset — boosted yields on BTC in DeFi!
